This professional continuing education program is designed for licensed mental health clinicians who work with Christian families. Led by Alexander Linderman, LCPC—a trauma-informed clinician, couples specialist, and father of six—the course bridges clinical expertise with faith-based principles. Participants will examine family systems through an attachment-focused, trauma-informed lens, specifically addressing issues of shame, emotional regulation, and ethical faith integration. The curriculum provides actionable strategies for clinical practice, including de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution frameworks. Clinicians will learn to help families move from transactional rule-following to secure-base relationships rooted in grace and clinical safety.
