NectrAI (“NectrAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides artificial intelligence-assisted tools for creating, managing, scheduling, analyzing, and publishing marketing and social media content.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you access or use NectrAI, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using NectrAI, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to NectrAI, including your name, email address, account information, business or organization information, brand information, marketing preferences, content, prompts, campaign objectives, uploaded images or media, and other information you choose to provide.

When you connect third-party accounts or services, NectrAI may receive information necessary to provide the requested integration. Depending on the service and permissions you authorize, this may include social-media account identifiers, page or profile information, account names, access or authorization tokens, publishing permissions, post information, analytics information, and other data made available through the applicable platform's API.

We only seek access to third-party information reasonably necessary to provide features you request.

2. Connected Social Media Accounts

NectrAI may allow users to connect supported third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other services.

When you connect an account, you authorize NectrAI to interact with that service according to the permissions presented during the authorization process. Depending on the integration, this may allow NectrAI to create, schedule, publish, retrieve, or analyze content on your behalf.

NectrAI does not require users to provide their social-media passwords directly to NectrAI when the applicable platform supports secure OAuth or another platform-authorized authentication mechanism.

You may disconnect supported integrations through NectrAI or the applicable third-party service.

Third-party services independently control their platforms and their own collection and processing of information. Their privacy policies and terms also apply to your use of those services.

3. AI-Generated Content

NectrAI uses artificial intelligence technologies to assist users with tasks such as creating:

• Social-media posts and captions

• Marketing campaigns

• Images and creative assets

• Hashtags and calls to action

• Content calendars

• Advertising concepts and copy

• Platform-specific versions of content

• Marketing recommendations and related materials

Information submitted for AI generation may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers, including OpenAI, where necessary to perform the requested generation.

Users should not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, protected health information, passwords, payment-card information, or other information that is unnecessary for the requested marketing task.

AI-generated material may contain errors. Users are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing or otherwise using it.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve NectrAI; authenticate users; connect authorized third-party accounts; generate requested AI content; schedule and publish content; provide analytics; personalize features; provide customer support; diagnose technical problems; prevent fraud or abuse; comply with legal obligations; and develop or improve our Services.

We do not claim ownership of your underlying business content merely because you provide it to NectrAI.

5. OAuth Tokens and Account Credentials

NectrAI may receive access tokens, refresh tokens, or similar authorization credentials when you connect supported third-party services.

We use these credentials only as necessary to provide authorized functionality.

Where appropriate, authentication credentials and sensitive configuration information are stored using security controls designed to prevent unauthorized disclosure. NectrAI does not intentionally expose private API credentials or OAuth tokens through publicly accessible portions of the application.

Users can revoke permissions through the relevant third-party platform where supported.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

NectrAI may rely on third parties to provide infrastructure or functionality, including AI processing, authentication, cloud hosting, database services, analytics, payment processing, social-media integrations, e-commerce integrations, email services, and security services.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform services for NectrAI.

Third-party services may include providers such as OpenAI and supported social-media, e-commerce, authentication, infrastructure, and payment platforms.

Each third-party provider operates subject to its own terms and privacy practices.

7. OpenAI

NectrAI may use OpenAI services to provide AI-assisted functionality.

When you request AI generation, relevant prompts, instructions, campaign information, content, or other information necessary to fulfill the request may be transmitted to OpenAI through its API.

NectrAI is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI merely because NectrAI uses OpenAI technology.

8. Meta Platform Data

If you connect Facebook or Instagram, NectrAI may process information made available through Meta's APIs according to the permissions you authorize.

NectrAI uses this information to provide functionality requested by the user, such as identifying authorized Pages or accounts, preparing or publishing content, managing connected accounts, and retrieving permitted information.

NectrAI does not sell Meta Platform Data.

Our use of information obtained through Meta APIs is subject to applicable Meta platform requirements.

9. E-Commerce Integrations

NectrAI may allow users to connect e-commerce services such as Shopify, Etsy, or other supported platforms.

Depending on the integration and permissions authorized, NectrAI may access information such as store information, product names, product descriptions, images, URLs, pricing, or other catalog information for purposes such as creating marketing content.

We only intend to request permissions reasonably necessary to provide the features selected by the user.

10. Information Sharing

We may disclose information to service providers that help operate NectrAI; third-party platforms you specifically authorize NectrAI to interact with; professional advisers where reasonably necessary; government authorities when legally required; or parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of the business, subject to applicable law.

NectrAI does not sell your personal information for money.

We do not sell your social-media access tokens.

11. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and protect the security of NectrAI.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Information associated with connected third-party services may be deleted or disconnected when the integration is removed, subject to reasonable backup, security, fraud-prevention, and legal retention requirements.

12. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of personal information associated with their NectrAI account, subject to applicable legal and operational retention requirements.

Users may also disconnect third-party accounts and revoke NectrAI's permissions through the applicable third-party platform.

13. Data Security

However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

14. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and lawful basis to upload, process, generate, publish, or distribute content through NectrAI.

You are also responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publication and ensuring that your marketing activities comply with applicable laws, advertising requirements, professional regulations, intellectual-property rights, and third-party platform policies.

15. Children's Privacy

NectrAI is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Services. If we learn that such information has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

16. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights regarding their personal information under applicable privacy laws. Depending on your jurisdiction, these rights may include requesting access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information and obtaining information about certain processing practices.

We will process verified requests as required by applicable law.

17. International Users

If you access NectrAI from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where NectrAI or its service providers operate.

Those jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
