Who He Works With
A Trauma Focused Approach
Couples & Family Support
Alexander also works with couples and families experiencing communication breakdowns, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, parenting stress, unresolved hurt, and difficult family transitions.
He helps clients move beyond blame and defensiveness so they can better understand one another, rebuild trust, and create healthier, more supportive relationships.
Whether in individual, couples, or family sessions, his goal is to bring hope, clarity, and connection back into relationships.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Alexander approaches therapy through a trauma focused lens. He understands that trauma is not limited to a single catastrophic event. It may also develop through repeated experiences of rejection, abandonment, conflict, emotional neglect, betrayal, instability, abuse, loss, or feeling unsafe within important relationships.
His work emphasizes emotional safety, stabilization, nervous system regulation, healthy boundaries, and the gradual processing of distressing experiences without overwhelming the client.
He continues to advance his professional development in evidence based trauma treatment, including EMDR.
Alexander specializes in working with adults who have experienced trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, symptoms of PTSD, depression, grief, burnout, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.
Many of his clients appear capable and successful on the outside while privately struggling with painful memories, emotional exhaustion, self doubt, hypervigilance, difficulty trusting others, or the feeling that they are constantly trying to hold everything together.
He helps clients recognize how past experiences may still be influencing their emotions, relationships, beliefs, and nervous system responses in the present.

Therapy is not about having all the answers.
It is about finding a safe place to heal, grow, and build hope.
